But before you rush in to a beginners workout routine take the time to learn something about fitness here.

Getting Started

First of all congratulations! You have already put the first step to a healthier body. But now you want to know what routine gives the best results..Let me answer that question with a question, what kind of results do you want?

Do you want to lose fat?

Do you want to gain muscle?

Do you want to gain strength?

Do you want to grow in endurance?

Now you will probably be thinking… “But I want all of those!”Of course training will make you grow In all of those aspects, but did you ever see a bodybuilder running a marathon?I guess you don’t. That’s because at a certain point you will develop I certain kind of muscle, they can become strong and fast with a lot of endurance, but they won’t be extremely big. If you want them big, they probably will not be that fast.

Luckily right now you don’t have to worry about that too much, most beginner workout routines focus on overall improvement. But it’s good to keep this in mind for later on.

For now let’s look at some important basics

Already know the basic fast forward to

basic workout routines

The 5 basics

Rest

Yes! This is the most important of them all. When people start out with a workout routine, they want to train every day. So they’ll see the fastest results…right? Wrong!!! Your body becomes stronger and grows while resting, not while training. The training is the impulse for your body, the actual transforming takes place when we rest. So even when doing a beginner workout routine, take your rest even though it might not be very heavy it is still new for your body, so it needs time to adjust.

Technique

It’s not the weight that counts, it’s the form. So instead of adding those weights to your dumbbell slow your movement down. Make sure you control the weight through the whole motion. This will help you prevent injuries and increase the impulses on the muscles you’re training

Time vs Intensity

Another thing people tend to do is go to gym for 2 or 3 hours. It’s not the amount of time your training it’s the intensity! If you’re training to long your body will actually break down muscle cells for energy. I’m pretty sure that’s not what you want. So instead of training long, train under high stress. Which means always keep pushing yourself; try to make every training just a bit harder than the last one. This way you will keep the impulses coming!

Legs

A lot of men focus on their upper body and that’s not weird. Everybody wants those broad shoulders, firm chest and six pack abs right. Do you know what the fastest way is to get them…Train your legs! It’s beneficial for your whole body, leg exercises use way more calories and produce hormones that stimulate fat loss and muscle growth. Bigger legs means more burning more while walking!

Nutrition

Last but definitely not least. Nutrition is the foundation of your body. How can you grow muscles if you don’t have anything to create new cells with? You can have the best workout routine in the world but it won’t help if you eat 4000 calories worth of sugar and fat every day. So throw out the sugars and saturated fats and get some high quality proteins in there. And top it off with some good veggies
